Glow Youth - School Years 7 - 13

At Glow Youth, we are passionately dedicated to creating a vibrant and supportive environment that nurtures the spiritual growth and personal development of every young person. Anchored in the love of Christ, Glow Youth offers a dynamic blend of engaging programs and activities that inspire faith and foster meaningful relationships. We believe in empowering our youth to be influential leaders, not only within our church but throughout their communities, embodying the joy and hope of a life lived in connection with God.

Friday Night Program
Every Friday night the youth get a chance to connect with friends and engage in a fun, faith-filled environment. The evening starts with a quick check-in, followed by time to catch up with friends and touch base with their youth leaders.

The night is packed with activities designed to engage and inspire them in their walk with God. It features games, praise & worship, engaging messages and connect groups—small, age-specific clusters where they can discuss topics of the night in a relaxed setting.

The evening starts at 7.30pm and concludes at 9.30pm, ensuring parents can pick up their teenagers on time. Drop by this Friday and discover a place where fun, faith and friendship meet at Glow Youth!

The first time young people arrive at Glow Youth they will need to complete a sign up form. This process includes asking for basic details such as their Name, Date of Birth and Contact Details. We will also ask for Parent contact information so we can contact parents in the case of an emergency. Parents will receive an SMS notifying them that their child has signed in to Glow Youth for the first time and provide a link to let us know of any further details we should know to help provide a safe environment for their teenagers. Parents are encouraged to come and meet our youth team, ask questions and find out more about Glow Youth.

Max Cherrie

Max is passionate about seeing young people connect with Jesus and has been leading in youth ministry for over six years, most recently at Glow Youth. He leads a passionate team of leaders who together, create a welcoming environment where every young person can grow in confidence, discover their gifts and explore their walk with Jesus. Max loves the creative arts, hanging out with friends and family and most of all, watching his beloved football team, Newcastle United! Max has a BA in Theology and Christian Leadership.
